Why not sue the state

Telanga movement is turning out to be an opportunity for all small time politicians who want to showcase their hollow political power in Andhra Pradesh. Every politician wants to call for a bandh and on the day of the bandh all offices, factories, transport, railways will be forcefully shutdown. And several buses will be burnt as if it they belong to their ancestral property.

Nobody seems to be concerned with the kind of reactions these actions have on the business environment in the state. US has already issued a travel advisory against travelling to A.P. Several MNC IT/ITES companies are rethinking on their expansion plans in the state and those who already exist are planning to leave A.P. and go north.

Who will be responsible for the job losses, losses in value of property etc? It seems there is no Government in the state; we hardly see any strong message coming from the CM or the state government. Even the central government seems to be sleeping on this, why Sonia Gandhi and Man Mohan Singh can’t come out and announce the process and the timeliness they will follow to take a decision. In the mean time asking all parties to maintain peace and if parties don’t adhere to maintaining peace they should be prosecuted as per the law of the land.

From a citizen’s point of view, why can’t I file a case against the state for its inability to maintain law and order? Why the government employees and ministers’ be held responsible and punished for their inability to carry out their duties as the custodians of law and order?

Yet, the problem is who has time to do all this. Common man has to go a job which demands accountability and in most of the cases have an appraisal system to measure his performance. Unlike our ministers who neither defined responsibilities nor an appraisal system to judge measure their performance. The best thing is for the parties in opposition they have 5 years to do nothing except to hold bandhs, dharnas and burns buses.

Does somebody has any solution to this or is it the price we are paying for democracy?

  1. In response to the above blog!
Democracy, is not Indias cup of tea. 62 years have passed, and what have we achieved, 26 states, some 7 union territories etc. Freedom from what? We are still the same, fight , kill, destroy and the list continues.

The issue is not about Andhra Pradesh or Telangana or any other state, the condition is same from Jammu to Kanyakumari. Every other person desires to become the Chief Minster, individual desires are always given more importance than the nations integrity. I would say that its not about states, region or language but its lack of patriotism in oneself. The last time someone taught me to love thy country was in class 4. The country is always been looked upon as a glue which unites some part of land. The day is not far when 2 or 3 states untidily will demand for another country and then further on.

Don’t blame the state or the country, look deep into yourself, are we that capable to sue the state, Mr SPS Rathore did get away from 19 small years in Ruchika Molestation case, do you expect Andhra and its people will get justice?A person like Ajmal Amir kasab is kept in prison for a year and now he declines all the charges, a 11K charge sheet, WOW for what to explain what crime he commited, does his act need a explanation .When one criminal can get away, do you think the state cant ! once my cousin asked me what does India stand for, I thought is my country name abbreviated, is there a full form of INDIA, like USA. For a wonder, he explained

    I-I will
    N-never
    D-do
    I-it
    A-again.
The above clearly makes everything clear, how well our democracy is mocked at, few simple words are more than enough to clarify the situation. Lets get real !

Lets not comment on what has to be done and what not has to be. Don’t just change the country or the state, can you be the change!.
People generally, have a tendency to blame it on to the govt. or the minister or any one for that matter. Excuse me, the govt. is a Govt because of you. Its you who selected and voted for a GUNDA to become your leader. Its you who supported crime and violence, the constitution says that supporting a crime is a crime. Can you file a case against yourself, against your neighbor, your relative. We all are responsible. We are the criminals we are the victims. No matter whom so ever holds a strike a Bandh or any political drama, who suffers YOU.

I don’t want to indulge in numbers and figures from APSRTC loss of some 100 corers and sugar getting a bit bitter from vegetables to pulses, its very clear these things don’t need to mentioned every now and then. I think we have a very good finance ministry, these all things can be managed very well. Its easy to play with numbers rather than psychology of the people especially in India. We have a thick skin.

Look deep , dig in, find the purpose, it would be more better not to criticize and comment, start from yourself.CAN YOU!!!
